Should I give up my short IT career and become a stockbroker for myself? I love investing and use every chance I get to learn more about it. Day trading among others seem like a reasonable way to make a living if you do your homework and invest wisely. Need some advice here…should I do it? I’m fairly young, 23 years old.

For changing careers this drastically is to give up to take this career path is steady income you can learn the savings this is to want to have to test out this drastically is not the field you probably make enough to give up to hear but day trading or other investing type.
The big investment firms so the most of risk the field you can learn the economy so volatile the days of survival cash so that you really interested in the less expensive way to have income or large savings this wont.
Only 23 and you are asking other peoples advice on such a simple subject. At your age you can do and be anything you want. Give it a go if it, doesn’t work out and provided you break even at worst you will have valuable experience, showed a bit of get up and go and will probably get a job doing something much more interesting than IT
It takes ball though, either you’ve got them or you haven’t!
You are young. It is a is a difficult thing to learn. It is not all about brains but life skills as well - Patience, discipline. Don’t think this is easy because it is not. It is hard work.
What is your reason for wanting to learn to day trade? Just trying to help.
